Hello there, my name is Seyi Popoola, and I am a passionate lover of words and psalms. My journey as a writer began many years ago, though at the time, I had little sense of the path I was about to embark on. I carried burdens in my heart—emotions that my voice could not speak and my words could not capture. Writing became the only outlet through which I could release these unspoken thoughts, and from that moment, my writing journey unfolded.
Much like an artist who brings a masterpiece to life with brush and canvas, or a chef who crafts a dish with ingredients and technique, the psalmist creates with something far more personal. He shapes his work not from material, but from the depths of his mind, his heart, and his love for language—crafting something unique, a creation born from pure emotion and thought.
My writing spans a range of genres, from spiritual to romance, politics, and general themes. The words of a psalmist flow from spirit to pen, and from pen to paper. These words are not always logical, nor are they meant to be. They are not to be diluted or tailored to fit the fleeting fashions of the world. A true psalmist follows his most intense fascinations relentlessly, striving for depth and truth, but even then, he is never fully satisfied. For there is always more to explore, more to discover. And so the cycle continues: waiting for the next spark of inspiration, returning to the source, and once again trusting in the Spirit to guide the pen.

My writing covers a few genres; spiritual, romance, politics and miscellaneous (general). The psalmist's words flow from spirit to pen, from pen to paper. These words are sometimes illogical but they are not to be watered down; not to be edited according to the fashion of this world. Rather, a psalmist follows his most intense fascinations mercilessly. In the end, he is still not satisfied, for there are more where that comes from, so he waits for the next inspiration, only to come back to where he started, relying on the Spirit and putting pen to paper…
